The end

After 3 electronics filled years, I definitely feel I did achieve something, some knowledge, some experiences. If you dont know what i am talking about here you go, I will tell you in brief what is happening:

3 years ago, after passing my school, I had decided to learn some electronics. There was no specific reason for taking up electronics as a subject of specialization or whatever you call it. I like everything from heavy machinery, mechanics, robotics, computing, programming, electronics, telecommunication, art, etc. I had no aim of taking up electronics as my study course. I dont know how i ended up learning electronics, but I did enjoy it a lot, as I would have enjoyed other subjects. I havent spent a single day without seeing circuit boards, and when the time had come to keep those circuit boards away, it was a heartbreak for me.

Engineering is something that must be loved. Over 3 years of my engineering student life, I have met so many students who have taken up engineering course just for the sake of it. I got to read those comments most of the days in weeks saying how bad engineering is!

If you feel it is bad and its been too harsh on you, you are definitely in the wrong field. since the beginning, I have loved to design something on my own. Eventually, designing something lead me to doing intensive research on that particular subject. Even though i didn’t actually build up the machine/circuit that I had designed, I definitely gained some knowledge about designing and ofcourse learnt more about circuits.

3 years ago, I was building a tower crane, and I planned that I will make it better and it was my dream at that time that the crane will be fully automatic. But at that time, I barely had any knowledge on electronics and it was totally difficult for me because I didnt know where to start from! Today, the day has come when I will actually start building THAT FULLY AUTOMATIC TOWER CRANE.

I have always hated ENGINEERING STUDENT who have disrespect to the field of engineering. If they hate to study those subjects then they should go away and learn something else. Such students eventually end up failing or just passing for the sake of it.

There had been such students with me for these 3 years, who are barely interested their subjects. Students ending up in wrong fields result in lack of development in the country. Lack of motivation and proper guidance is one of the probable factors for such students who end up in wrong field. Engineering is just one of the many subjects that you can study!

Right from the school days, children must be pushed to pursue their dreams. But eventually, as they grow up, they come in contact with a lot of people. They forget what they want! Their dreams are forgotten and those children begin to imitate their friends. [I know the words arent perfect, but I hope you get the idea of what I am trying to say here]

Just because your neighbour’s child is studying engineering course, parents want their child too learn that too! Such attitude is changing these days, but a large part of Indian community is behaving that way even today.

So my advice: If you are a student, and you are looking for learning further, then you should be able to realize what you want! What your dreams were! What can you contribute to your country and help development! Consider these factors before you get into any field.
