MTNL Triband 2Mbps on Sunday

MTNL has unofficially launched a new scheme of giving its customers 2Mbps bandwidth on sundays.

If you are on a plan which has bandwidth below 2Mbps, then you are going to get full 2Mbps download bandwidth on Sundays. Unfortunately there is not such scheme for 2Mbps subscribers.

Another important news is that upload speed will be doubled to 512kbps on Sunday.

This scheme has unofficially started since Holi. And the subscribers are getting 2Mbps on Sundays. But the speed comes to normal subscribed speed on days other than Sunday. This has left a lot of MTNL subscribers in confusion. So here is the news to get your confusion cleared.
