Play COD MW2 online multiplayer.
Follow this guide:
NOTE! – You DO NOT need garena or steam to play multiplayer online.

INTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the latest patch from here and here-> THIS IS THE FINAL WORKING 1337a PATCH. Please extract the second patch FIRST.
2. Extract the files in the patch into your MW2 folder.USE THIS GUIDE FOR EXTRACTING CORRECTLY: if you dont use the guide, your game will never work. WARNING!
3. Open alterIWnet_configure.exe and change your name.
4. Open your iw4mp.cfg and replace it with the following code
enable_updates 1cache_server http://alteriw.net/contentcaches aiw-client;aiw-content
[ download the FRESH INSTALL if you have a DVD rip downloaded and want to make it working ] -> you will need to get the above patch.
For STIMULUS MAP PACK. extract this into your zone\english folder.
A small solution to some error is given here. Please read this.

If that torrent doesnt work well, you can find some other torrent but be sure you download the SKIDROW version.
Direct download with pre-installed patches. download the game and play directly without installation of additional patches.

In 1.3.37a patch you can connect to a game using its IP address.
Get the IP address of the host, and the people who want to join him can use this command in the console
connect <IP>

Q: Whenever I start my game, nothing happens, or I hear a generic ‘error’ sound effect from Windows.

Q: I get an error about iw_22 being incorrect whenever I launch the game. What can I do to fix it?
A: There are various solutions to this problem, start with the first one and work your way to the bottom one.
Option 1: Download the DLC from the downloads page and extract everything from the archive into your MW2 folder. Then download Move_Stimulus, also put it in your MW2 folder and run it. Now you should be able to play, if not, move down to option 2 below.
Option 2: On Vista/Windows 7: Open the Network and Sharing Center window, click Change Adapter Settings on the left menu and disable any adapters you are not using. Only leave the adapter you are currently using for your internet connection enabled. Now run the game again and if it still doesn’t work, make sure you have the DLC by following option 1 above. If you are sure you have the DLC, move down to Option 3 below.
Option 3: Open Device Manager (Windows key+R > devmgmt.msc). Find your network adapter. Uninstall the drivers. If your PC needs to restart, do so. If not, use Device Manager to let Windows reinstall the adapter’s drivers again. Confirm that your internet works after the installation finishes and run MW2.
Q: I get an error about mss32.dll not being found. What to do about it?
A: Make sure you extracted the 1.3.37a client files in your MW2 installation directory. It will not work outside of there — it’ll just download the game content. If you were trying to play alterIWnet without having MW2 before, no dice for you.
Q: Is renaming iw4mp.dat to iw4mp.exe bad?
A: Even though you won’t get banned for doing this, this will cause various issues when updates arrive, up to making it impossible for you to play on alterIWnet. Most of the updater issues have been fixed — so get back on the update track and get all the future updates for free 
Q: My settings keep resetting. What can I do?
A: Wait for the first hotfix release — it’ll automatically apply if you didn’t disable your updater and will hopefully fix this annoying issue.
Q: My NAT is strict. How do I open it ?
A: It’s very imporant that you forward your ports for the game if you have a router. You can’t host and you can’t use your IP to invite friends to your party if you don’t forward port 28960 (TCP and UDP).
Please check if your firewall is allowing the game to send and receive traffic though this ports.

Q: Why are my EAM imported stats reset after restarting the game?
A: Delete all your .stat files in \players\ and try importing the stats again.
Q: Why can’t I click the OK button on the Cheater Warning pop-up?
A: You did not type the message in exactly as it’s shown in the question. Just keep trying. Take it as an IQ test of sorts.

actually yes we are having problems with hosting we are very sorry for what has happened …. we encountered difficulties with the previous hoster and therefore we got our database and all our stuff deleted. Some hoster huh. (NOT). We will try to be back as soon as possible so please don’t think bad of us 🙂
